DT post for the month of May - Use Bird Cage Diecut

Hey Buddies,

A Very Good day to all my Blogger friends... I was on a vacation to my Mom's place. No Crafting, No Household work.... Only Relaxation.... As soon as I reached back home, I realized that I was due for this month's DT project for Kukies Basket... The team had decided to showcase the Birdcage Diecut available at Kukies Basket.

I am here to show two projects that I completed last night both using the same Diecut.

Here is my first project - that is a Card. I just layered a card stock with a corrugated sheet and placed a Pattern paper over that. Placed the Cage diecut and embellished it with some calla lillies, added a sentiment, Stamped a flower and colored it using my Water color pencils. Then took the Bird diecut in white and colored it. Glued it together, added a sentiment and there my card is ready....

Entering this to the following Challenges :
1. cutedaisymay challenge -MAY FLOWERS
2. challenges4everybody - Anything goes
3. bearlymine challenges- Anything goes
4. LEJ Designs - Use Diecuts and/or Punches

On to my next project , It is a 3D project where I stuck together four Cage diecuts. The white Diecuts are randomly stamped with one of my LOTV stamp in Black to add some patterns. Kept a flower inside and made the Bird diecut sit over the flower. Tied them together and added some charms.
I have seen this type of project in the Internet. But I am not sure where I saw it. The only thing I remembered  was the way the diecuts were stuck together to form a bigger cage... I developed it with my creative thoughts. Embellished the project with lots of flat pearls which is also available in Kukies Basket....

Here is the 3D project I created

A Mother's day Card for my Mom-In-Law!

I had been wanting to do a Card for my Mother-In-Law for the past one week and I totally was struck with other household work.

Today Morning, When I woke up to realize I have not done a card to wish my Mom-in-Law.

I wanted a sketch to quickly follow, I suddenly remembered seeing a sketch yesterday @ sketchsaturday challenges. I quickly referred the sketch. Decided to use the pleasant colors from the Crafter's corner challenge. And did this card in almost an hour.
