DT project for the month of July - Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers

Hi All Crafty Friends,

This month at Kukies Basket, We have all planned to play with Tim Holtz Tattered flowers.

I had been wanting to do a photoframe for a lovely couple in my family and send them along with the First Birthday gift of their daughter. I decide to incorporate the flower into the Photoframe.

And here is the Outcome. And I really loved the end result.

The Frame is a plain white cardboard frame. I just stamped the cute lil design with my daughters Stic Colorstix Stamper color set n gave it a pattern.

The Diecuts were in plain white. And as recently I have fallen in love with the Distress Inks n the gorgeous effects they create in a project ( Note: u will see some distressing in every other project of mine...Pls dont get bored) , I decided to give my diecuts a shade of Pine needles. Then I stamped them with a stamp in black randomly all over.

Added a leaf diecut , a corner diecut (colored with Bronze acrylic paint)to it.

The family Alphabets are Acrylic Alphabets in white. Painted them with Pearl Blue Acrylic paints.

Wanted a nice color shade for the butterfly. Had some colored chalk pieces. Just randomly shaded the colors in a white paper, Sprayed some water mixed with pearl acrylic paints so that it got a subtle glitter on it. Then Punched Butterflies with MS punch.

Hope you all like it...

The tattered flowers diecut is available in the Kukies Basket Shop- The Best place to shop for Diecuts. Lots of Designs available in the shop at a very affordable cost.
