One day while going through the web,I saw a tutorial for a Shadow box card. Loved the idea and wanted to try it myself. After creating the shadow box,I didnt know what to put as center piece. I kept it aside for a week thinking how to decorate it. I started it with a thought of decorating it with my favorite quilled flowers. But after I had created it, i felt the box was a little small to create a scene with quilled flowers. Then finally decided to put a colored image as it was on the tutorial.
I always had wanted to color images but never had the courage to do so. I had this lovely image that was a freebie printed a long before. I had earlier made only one card with a stamped image. That was colored with faber castell color pencils. My hubby had always been good at painting and coloring. He helped me with the earlier one guiding me.
For this image, I wanted to use my letraset markers I won at Anna's monthly candy . I used a combination of letraset and fine tip markers i had.
And here is the outcome and I liked it. Thanks to Heather for this lovely , clear tutorial on making this shadow box card.
